1. Agreement

By creating an account or using FirstDays ("the service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. FirstDays is operated as an independent service at firstdays.io.

2. What FirstDays is — and isn't

FirstDays helps new parents organize post-birth paperwork by generating a personalized, deadline-aware task list and drafting emails and letters based on the information you provide and publicly available official guidance.

FirstDays is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, medical, or financial advice. Deadlines, fees, forms, and procedures are provided for convenience, change frequently, and vary by jurisdiction and individual circumstance. The drafts we generate are starting points you should review before sending. Always confirm requirements and deadlines with the relevant official agency (we link to the official source for each task). You are responsible for verifying accuracy and for any filings you make.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us at hello@firstdays.io of any unauthorized use.

4. Payment & refunds

Full access is a one-time payment of $29 (USD, founding-pilot price), processed securely by Stripe. We offer a 10-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, email hello@firstdays.io within 10 days of purchase for a full refund. Applicable taxes may apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering or disrupting the service, scraping, or using it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter and the documents you generate. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service (see our Privacy Policy).

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. FirstDays is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed deadlines, rejected filings, or losses arising from reliance on generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the service over time; material changes will be noted by the date above. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@firstdays.io.
